Iraq urged gov't to expel US forces

Tehran, IRNA – Hadi Al-Ameri, the chief of the Nabni Coalition, has urged the government of Iraq to hurry to expel the US military forces.

Al-Ameri, who is the chief of Nabni (We Build) alliance and one of the senior commanders of the resistance groups, said so while his remarks were cited by IRNA on Sunday.

Speaking at a ceremony in Iraq, the resistance chief said that the United States is the Zionist regime’s accomplice in killing the elderly, women, and children in Gaza.

He also referred to presence of the US-led multi-national coalition in Iraq as pure evil because what it has left behind is nothing but massacre and destruction.

Pointing to the Saturday attack carried out by the American occupiers against Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) – known as the Hashd al-Shaabi, Al-Ameri, he noted, “Undoubtedly, Washington is against the Iraqi people after it targeted Hashd al-Shaabi’s bases because the Units are doing their duties to preserve the Iraqi borders.”

Following the Saturday attack of the US on Akashat and Al-Qa'im, western Iraq, three Iraqis were killed and 11 others were wounded.

Also, its previous attack on Albu Kamal and al Mayadeen in eastern Syria, 10 were killed and 18 were injured.

The United States claims that its attacks were a retaliatory measure to the killing of its three servicemen in its base in northeastern Jordan.
