Tehran, IRNA – The spokesman for the Iranian government said on Sunday that Iran was determined to advance its nuclear industry, noting that over 200 medical centers use 50 radiopharmaceuticals manufactured by the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran.
Ali Bahadori Jahromi said that Iran had prioritized increasing the capacity of nuclear power generation, noting that the president had instructed the Bushehr Nuclear Plant to increase its capacity to 10 megawatts.
He also said that Iran was moving towards becoming a research nuclear reactor producer and it would leverage the technology and the scientific capability in other industrial fields.
