Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian in a phone talk with his Pakistani counterpart Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that Iran agrees with Pakistan that reopening of border markets leads to expansion of trade ties, and is ready to open the Pishin-Mand border market.

Amirabdollahian in his Thursday phone talk with Bilawal Bhutto Zardari exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, as well as the most important regional and international developments, including the latest developments in Iran’s nuclear talks with world powers to remove sanctions.

The top Iranian diplomat expressed deep sorrow over the heavy loss of lives in the recent devastating flood in Pakistan and expressed sympathy with the Pakistani nation and government, informing Zardari that the Islamic Republic of Iran has forwarded its humanitarian aides to Pakistan.

He said that in the two countries’ share the view that the best way to restore peace and stability in the neighboring Afghanistan is to establish an all-encompassing government, inclusive of representatives of the entire tribes and ethnic groups.

Pakistan Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, for his part, in the phone talk appreciated Iran for forwarding humanitarian aides for the flood-stricken Pakistani citizens, and asked for broader cooperation from Iran due to the very vast dimensions of the flood destruction.

He said that Islamabad has the same view as Tehran does about Afghanistan.

Zardari also praised Iran’s positive approach in Vienna negotiations, adding that Islamabad believes it is Iran’s legitimate right to have free interactions with the world, and different countries must be able to deal with Iran and make investments there free from all unnecessary limits.

He also invited Amirabdollahian to visit Pakistan at his earliest convenient opportunity to pursue the process of the rapidly expanding bilateral cooperation personally.
