Radio Farda, the Farsi language American news channel had claimed that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Donetsk had signed a bilateral economic cooperation agreement aimed at boosting trade ties, according to which Iran will provide construction material and garden products, such as fruits and vegetables for Donetsk.
