Iran's Oil Minister in Tehran Oil Refinery to oversee fire extinguishing operation

Tehran, June 3, IRNA – Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Zangeneh on Wednesday evening visited the site of Tehran oil refinery to oversee crisis management operations to contain a huge fire which started there earlier in the evening.

According to the head of Tehran crisis management Mansour Darajati, one of the gas pipelines in one of  Tehran Oil Refinery in South of capital caught fire on Wednesday evening.

Firefighters from different areas of Tehran and other forces were immediately dispatched to the area to distinguish the fire.

Iran's Oil Minister Bijan Zangeneh at the time being is in the site of the accident.

According to reports, the situation in the refinery is under full control now and forces on the scene have taken control of the fire.

According to reports, the fire will be extinguished when the fuel inside the tankers is completely consumed.
