Wildfire at Saravan forests
Fire that started early on January 9, 2024 at forests around Saravan village near the city of Rasht in northern Iran inflicted damage on some 6,000 hectares of woodland. Firefighters and staff from Iran’s Natural Resources and Watershed Management Organization helped put out the blaze later on Tuesday.
