Tehran, Feb 11, IRNA – Iranian sportsman Saman Pakbaz has received a silver medal at the 2021 World Para Athletics Grand Prix, a local official in Kohgiluyeh-Boyerahmad Province said on Thursday.
Esmaeil Abbasi pointed out that the thrower finished in second place in the Men's Shot Put - F12 with 14.96 meters.
Uzbekistan’s athlete came first and the Belarusian Para athlete finished in third place.
The competitions kicked off on Feb 10 and will end on February 16 in the UAE.
