Zarif arrived in Pakistan on Wednesday on a two-day visit.
He stressed the need to help solve regional crises including the ongoing situation in Yemen.
He called for the stop of foreign states meddling in Yemen's affairs.
Meanwhile, the two officials referred to Tehran-Islamabad relations calling for further bilateral cooperation on resolving international and regional problems through peacefull ways.
They also stressed that the two capitals should strengthen their economic and trade ties.
The Iranian foreign minister arrived in the Pakistani capital on Wednesday afternoon.
He met with the Pakistani Prime Ministers' National Security and Foreign Affairs Adviser Sartaj Aziz on Wednesday evening.
He is planned to hold talks with top Pakistani officials later in the day.
