Oliaie told IRNA that the meeting will be held on the surface vessels and submarines.
He said manpower resources are the precious asset of the Islamic Republic Navy, which is the main reason for holding the meeting.
He said 295 articles have thus far been sent to the secretariat of the meeting and 50 of them will be presented to the meeting in the form of lecture and 185 ones in the form of posters.

Tehran, Jan 13, IRNA – The First International Seminar of Maritime Medicine will be held in Bandarabbas from January 16-20, said director of the Maritime Medicine Department at the Faculty of Medical Sciences at the University of Medical Sciences of the Islamic Republic Naval Force, Shahram Oliaie.
