Ali-Asghar Khaji, a senior aide to the Iranian foreign minister, and Mohammad Abdul Salam, a member of the political council of Yemen’s Ansarallah, met in Tehran on Monday where they urged the need for the stoppage of the Zionist war crimes in Gaza and the establishment of an inclusive ceasefire.
They also reviewed different aspects of the situation in Yemen, stressing the urgency of finding a political solution to the crisis in the country.
The Iranian foreign ministry official welcomed the developments in the Yemeni peace process and voiced Tehran’s readiness to contribute to this process.
