According to Israeli regime media, Shlomo Karhi has demanded the cessation of classified ads in the Haaretz newspaper, an end to the cabinet’s cooperation with the media outlet, and legal action against it.
Karhi has called Haaretz newspaper's report on the Israeli regime's army attack on a music festival near the Gaza border a provocative act against the army and a “crime”.
Previously, the Israeli regime closed the office of Al-Mayadeen TV in the occupied territories for broadcasting news from Gaza.
Haaretz recently cited Israeli police that it appears a military helicopter mistakenly targeted festival-goers near the Israeli settlement of Re’im.
Following the start of the Al-Aqsa storm operation on October 7, Israeli media and authorities claimed that Hamas fighters attacked and killed festival participants, exaggerating the situation to portray themselves as victims.
The Zionist regime used the attack on the music festival as a justification for all-out attacks on civilians in the Gaza Strip. Under this pretext, it also received full support from Western countries, particularly the United States, as well as their approval for the mass killing of Palestinians.
In response to over seven decades of occupation and aggression by the Zionist regime against the people of Gaza and other occupied territories, Palestinian resistance began the Al-Aqsa storm operation against the Zionist regime on October 7.
The Israeli regime responded to the operation by massacring civilians and carpet bombing residential areas, resulting in the deaths of at least 14,854 Palestinians, including at least 6,000 children and 4,000 women. They even targeted numerous schools and hospitals.
A four-day ceasefire between the Zionist regime and the Hamas resistance movement in the Gaza Strip began at 7:00 a.m. on Friday.
