President Raisi made the remarks upon arrival in Tehran early on Sunday after his short visit to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, for a meeting on Palestine with the participation of Islamic and Arab countries.
Elaborating on his visit, the president said that in the Riyadh meeting he had "tried to be the voice of the Iranian nation and the people who demonstrate on the streets for the rights of the Palestinians,” the president noted.
If the occupation has lasted for 75 years, it does not create a right of ownership for the Zionist regime, the president said, while describing the Zionist regime as fake and an occupier.
As he underlined, the Islamic Republic clarified the aspects of the Zionists’ ongoing crimes and massacres in Gaza and introduced the United States as the main criminal because it has equipped and supported the regime to kill more Palestinian children and women in Gaza.
Raisi said the Islamic Republic presented 10 proposals for tackling the Gaza crisis during the Riyadh meeting.
He said Iran believes that a strategic and democratic way out of the Palestinian conflict would be one that respects the ideas of all Palestinians including Muslims, Christians, and Jews, Raisi added.
At the end of his remarks, he expressed hope that the Riyadh meeting would serve the national interests of Palestine and the Islamic Ummah.
President Raisi attended the joint meeting of the Arab League and the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on Saturday. The meeting was held to find ways to end the war in Gaza and to prevent the Zionists from justifying their crimes in Gaza as self-defense.
