The exhibition, which runs for four days, showcases medical equipment as well as surgical and laboratory equipment, among others, according to Saeed Seifi, the managing director of the Mashhad International Exhibition Center, Khorasan Razavi Province.
He said that 80 companies from across Iran as well as Afghanistan, Iraq and Pakistan are taking part in the event.
The exhibition aims to introduce modern technologies and capabilities of industrialists active in the field of medical engineering at the national and international levels, and to increase cooperation among manufacturers in Iran, neighboring countries, as well as Central Asia, and the Persian Gulf, according to the official website of the exhibition.
