Saeed Bahreyni, the CEO of Farivar Konesh Company, said the company’s first knowledge-based product is an EEG gel, a conductive gel with a special viscosity to record bioelectrical signals from the patient’s skin.
He explained that the gel is used in recording EEG signals using Easy Cap.
Bahreyni also introduced Teson, another knowledge-based product developed by the company, saying it is a sticky and electrically conductive paste that is used to stick permanent electrodes to the patient’s skin.
Using this paste reduces the impedance between the skin and the electrode and improves the quality of the signals received from the patient, he said.
Farivar Konesh Company was established in 2001 with the aim of designing, manufacturing and providing neurological diagnostic medical devices.
The company started feasibility studies on producing conductive gel/paste and skin preparation gel in 2016 and is currently the only certified manufacturer of these products in Iran.
