'False supporters of human rights keep silent about violation of Palestinians' rights'

Tehran, IRNA – Those in Western countries who claim to support human rights are silent when it comes to Israel's violation of Palestinians' rights by the anti-human Zionist regime, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Nasser Kanaani said in a Twitter message.

Kanaani said in a Twitter message on Monday on the occasion of Palestinian Prisoner's Day that the deafening silence of those in the West who claim to support human rights continues when it comes to the widespread and organized violation of the rights of Palestinians by the anti-human Zionist regime.

Kanaani raised the question if the false supporters of human rights know anything about the fate of about 5,000 Palestinian in the Zionist apartheid regime's prisons, including 31 women and 160 children.

Kanaani emphasized in the tweet that history and awakened human consciences will judge them.

Palestinian Prisoner's Day (April 17) was established by the Palestinian National Council in 1974 to honor the thousands of Palestinian prisoners held in the prisons of the Zionist regime and support their legitimate right to freedom.
