Iranian, Bangladeshi officials explore ways to boost bilateral cooperation

Tehran, IRNA – Deputy Iranian Foreign Minister for Economic Diplomacy Mehdi Safari on Saturday held talks with Deputy Finance Minister of Bangladesh Abu Hena Rahmatul Muneem here in the capital Tehran.

Abu Hena Rahmatul Muneem, who also chairs Bangladesh’s National Board of Revenue whose parent organization is the Internal Resources Division of the country’s Ministry of Finance, in on a visit to Tehran, heading a high-ranking delegation.

During their meeting, Safari and the Bangladeshi official discussed ways to expand cooperation between private sectors of the two countries in different areas, including agriculture and petrochemical.

The administration of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has put on its agenda the expansion of ties with countries in different parts of the world.
