Google employees enraged with Israeli crimes against Palestinians

Tehran, IRNA - A former manager of Google company has emphasized that anti-Palestinian crimes committed by Israel have caused outrage and discontent among Google employees.

Ariel Koren, former marketing manager for Google’s educational products arm who worked for the company for seven years, said in an interview with Arabi21 website that the number of Google personnel, who overtly oppose an awful contract between the company and the Israeli plan of Nimbus, has increased since his resignation in the current week.

The Project Nimbus is a 1.2 billion-dollar agreement for Google and Amazon to supply Israel and its military with artificial intelligence tools and other computing services, Koren mentioned.

The aim of the project is to pave the ground for Israelis to supervise the Palestinian people and harass them, he warned.

I and one of my colleagues named Gabriel Schubiner were the first Google workers, who protested the project publicly, because we have witnessed discrimination and harassment by Google against Palestinians, he added.

At the present time, Google staff are very angry with the company's discrimination and abuse of Palestinian people, which are being done in line with Israelis' demands and objectives, Koren noted.

Pointing to the company's anti-Palestinian bias, he urged other Google staff to join the "No Tech for Apartheid" to show their solidarity with Palestinians.

He also said that the union of Google personnel has played a key role in supporting the Palestinians' rights and stood against immoral projects such as Nimbus.
