Who should be blamed for critical situation in Vienna talks?

Tehran, IRNA – The talks in Vienna, Austria, to revive the 2015 nuclear deal and lift anti-Iran sanctions need to be held on correct principles in order to bear fruit in a short time, but the West is laboring hard to take more and give less.

According to nournews.ir, since the onset of the new round of talks in Vienna, the Western sides tried to propagate that time for reaching a consensus is limited. Of course, Iran has repeatedly announced that the Islamic Republic is ready to reach a good agreement as soon as possible, which can be achievable if the West accepts Iranians’ proposals that are in line with the nuclear deal also officially known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA).
It is worth mentioning that the JCPOA was signed by all signatories to guarantee two joint moves, including time-bound limitation of certain Iranian nuclear activities as well as effective and complete lifting of illegal sanctions on Iran.
Since the two measures are the main pillars of the deal, any violation of these principles can seriously threaten continuation and balance of the JCPOA.
All parties involved in the Vienna talks, including Iran, European Union and the P4+1 group of countries such as Britain, France, Russia, China plus Germany acknowledge that the Trump administration withdrew from the nuclear accord in May 2018 and re-imposed sanctions on Iran; then, after one year Tehran decided to scale back its commitments under the JCPOA gradually, but Iranians have time and again reiterated that they will return to their obligations following comeback of other signatories to their pledges.
Now, the West is witnessing the undeniable fact that sanction policy could not cause political and economic downfall of the Islamic Republic or even halt fast advancement of Iranians’ peaceful nuclear program.
Iranians have never left negotiating table following the US pullout from the JCPOA; so, it is obvious that the negotiation for reviving the deal is in dire need of Western side’s determination to resolve the dilemma.
The US and Europe have not come back to the negotiating table for revival of the JCPOA because of their goodwill, peace-loving and stability-seeking, but Iranians’ might in managing different challenges created by promise-breaking Americans and disloyal Europeans forced them to rethink.
The Western negotiators should be aware that the Iranian side will never retreat from its legitimate rights; so, the West are expected to adopt rational and constructive stance in the Vienna talks to help speed up the process to reach a good consensus on removal of anti-Iran sanctions and returning to the JCPOA.
