According to a report from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Amirabdollahian made the remarks in a meeting held in Tehran on Monday with staff members of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture.
Also, heads of Iran’s joint chambers of commerce with neighboring countries and some other states were present in the meeting.
Addressing the participants, the foreign minister described the private sector as the one that plays a leading role in enhancing relations among countries.
They can also help foreign policy be stable, Amirabdollahian noted.
Then, he expressed the Foreign Ministry’s determination to support private sectors having cooperation with other countries.
In the meeting, continuation of holding such gatherings was recommended.
