Tehran, IRNA – Japanese Foreign Minister Toshimitsu Motegi met with Secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council Ali Shamkhani on Sunday in Tehran.
Motegi arrived at Tehran early on Sunday to discuss bilateral issues in meetings with Iranian officials.
He also had a meeting with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
In a note to IRNA on Saturday, Motegi had said that the relations between Tehran and Tokyo are friendly, old, and unchangeable.
