Abdolmajid Eskandari pointed to Tehran University's top rank in international academic activities, and said, 'The Ministry of Science has determined various indicators for the excellence of international scientific activities.”
He added that the presence of foreign delegations at the university, the conduct of joint research projects, the organization of joint international courses, the number of international papers and the number of references to those articles, are among the indicators of the Ministry of Science in the ranking of universities.
Eskandari pointed out that the presidency of Mahmoud Nili Ahmad Abadi, the head of the Tehran University in the Union of Asia-Pacific Universities has played the role in the ranking of University of Tehran in international scientific activities.
