The official underlined that the Iraqi Kurdistan region should not change into a battlefield for the armed groups to target the neighboring states.
Barzani arrived in Tehran last night for talks with high-ranking Iranian officials.
Prior to his visit to Iran, Barzani traveled to Baghdad where he met Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi.
