Zionists admit never being able to reach goals set in Gaza war

Tehran, IRNA – Many Israeli analysts have admitted that it is impossible to achieve the war goals set by Israeli political and military officials in the Gaza Strip and Gazans will never give up, adding that the Israeli officials must accept defeat.

In an article published in the Israeli Yedioth Ahronoth newspaper, Chief Columnist for Tel Aviv-based daily newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth Nahum Barnea said that the proposed plan in the media regarding the release of inmates from Gaza whether Qatari, Egyptian, or American indicates that the Zionist regime is accepting the limited consequences of war, IRNA reported citing the Palestinian Information Center on Saturday.

He added, “To my knowledge, there is no agreement here so far, we hope there will be.”

The current Zionist government has fallen apart and is unable to manage the war, noting that Hamas will not be destroyed in this war, and will remain in Gaza and will not go anywhere, he reiterated.

He emphasized that the worst scenario is that no deal is reached and the Zionist army in Gaza is left stranded in front of two million displaced Palestinians, a hostile world, a tired US government, an unsustainable economic crisis, an unreasonable budget, and an unstable political-military.

Haaretz military analyst Amos Harel also stressed that the Gaza war is approaching its 100th day and many days still remain, Hamas' fighting spirit is still high and the Zionist army is far from ending the war and opposes any plans to return the Israeli prisoners.

He added that the Israeli regime remains far from achieving the objectives of the war in Gaza.

Referring to the escalation of military operations in the northern Gaza Strip, the Zionist regime is still far from victory, and given the current situation, it will face difficulties in the future, he further noted.

The Zionist regime waged the war on the strip on October 7 after the Gaza-based Palestinian resistance groups of Hamas and Islamic Jihad carried out the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm into the occupied territories in response to the occupying regime’s intensified crimes against the Palestinian people.

At least 23,708 Palestinians, most of them women and children, have been killed in the war, and more than 60,050 individuals injured.

Tel Aviv has also imposed a “complete siege” on Gaza, cutting off fuel, electricity, food, and water to the more than two million Palestinians living there.
