Iraqi resistance forces said in a statement early on Wednesday that they had used drones to hit the Al Asad Airbase in the west of Iraq where US forces are stationed.
The statement said the attack had been successful, adding that it was a response to the Israeli regime’s crimes in Gaza and US support for the aggression.
Iraqi resistance forces have launched more than 70 attacks on US targets in Iraq and Syria since the Israeli regime launched its aggression on Gaza in early October.
The attacks are part of larger drive by resistance forces in the region to force the US and Israel to end the brutal aggression on Gaza.
