--  Iran to join shale oil market: NIOC

The reserves of shale oil in Qalikouh region of Aligudarz in the western Iranian province of Lorestan will enable the country to enter shale oil market, said an official with the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC).
A sum of 15 years of field research has been conducted in the area of Aligudarz as many sampling teams have carried out the required tests which led to extraction possibility from the above ground field, added NIOC Director of Exploration Mehdi Fakour.

-- Lifting agricultural tariffs will increase exports: MP

Head of the Agriculture, Water, Natural Resources and Environment Committee of the Iranian Parliament announced the removal of tax tariffs on agricultural products, adding that it will increase the export of the products.
Talking to Iran Daily, Mohammad-Javad Asgari called the removal of tariffs on the export of agricultural products a turning point in production and export of the agricultural sector, noting that with the removal of tariffs and increased monitoring of the production and export of agricultural products, the country would earn more foreign exchange and create good job opportunities.

--  ‘Welcome to Isfahan’ rare book display in Doha

--  Floods Leave Two Dead, One Missing in Iran

Two people have died and one is missing in recent floods, according to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, amid more than decade-long drought in the country. Head of the Rescue and Relief Organization Babak Mahmoudi said more than 2,600 people in 13 different provinces in Iran have affected by flooding and received relief between November 2 and 11.

He said two people were reported dead in Golestan province north of Iran, and a 40-year-old woman had gone missing in Semnan province.

--  IME Weekly Trade Rises 10%

The Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) on Saturday reported that over 2,871,480 tonnes of commodities with a total trading value of more than $601 million were traded on its physical market, posting growths of 10% in volume of trades compared to the figures of the previous week.
According to the report, over 2,357,408 tonnes of metal and mineral commodities, including 1,284,083 tonnes of cement, 590,000 tonnes of iron ore, 337,115 tonnes of steel, 133,000 tonnes of sponge iron, 7,670 tonnes of copper, 6,090 tonnes of aluminum, 1,000 tonnes of zinc, 500 tonnes of cast iron and 200 tonnes of molybdenum concentrate with total value of $382 million were traded in the trading of IME’s halls.

--  Tehran to Host 23rd Int’l Electricity Exhibition

The 23rd edition of the Iran Int’l Electricity Exhibition (IEE) and the first edition of the Iran Electricity Industry Tech Market Festival will kick off at the Tehran Permanent International Fairgrounds on November 14.
Iran’s Energy Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian, the energy ministers of a number of participating countries, deputies and senior managers of Iran’s electricity industry as well as some of the foreign guests will attend the inaugural ceremony of the exhibition.

-- Iran stun Brazil in 2023 FIFA U17 World Cup

 Iran came from two goals down to beat defending champions Brazil 3-2 in Group C of the 2023 FIFA U17 World Cup. Rayan gave the Brazilian team the lead in the 28th minute at Jakarta International Stadium. Iran’s Abolfazl Zamani scored an own goal in the first half’s injury time.

Yaghoob Barajeh pulled a goal back in the 54th minute and Kasra Taheri leveled the score in the 69th minute. Four minutes later, Esmaeil Gholizadeh made it 3-2.

 On the commemoration of Nima Yushij's birthday, it is essential to acknowledge his pivotal role in modernizing Persian poetry. Born on November 11, 1895, Yushij, is often referred to as the "Father of Modern Persian Poetry." 

He fearlessly broke away from the traditional confines of classical poetry, ushering in a new era of literary innovation and artistic freedom. His audacious reimagining of poetic form and subject matter challenged the conventions of his time, paving the way for a new era of literary expression.

--  Iranian companies’ entrance to Cuba’s market to be facilitated: Cuban president

The president of Cuba announced the facilitation of the entry of Iranian companies into the Cuban market. While appreciating the presence of the Iranian firms in the mentioned exhibition, the official reiterated that his country is ready to facilitate the entrance of Iranian companies in the Cuban market.

He also emphasized on the participation of Iranian companies in supplying consumer goods needed by this country and added: “We have been waiting for the arrival of Iranian goods in the Cuban market for a long time.”
