Raisi addressed residents of Nahbandan on Friday as saying that the enemies imagined that Iran is similar to other countries, and they could fool the great nation by the use of lofty slogans.
The foes thought that they can persuade people to trust in their words by the use of slogans such as life, but the Iranians know them very well, he said, adding if they do not threaten lives of people, they will not offer life to anyone in the world.
Pointing to the enemies’ intervention in Afghanistan and the aftermaths of the policy, Raisi noted that you (the foes) had military presence in Afghanistan for two decades; so, what was the consequence for the oppressed nation in the war-stricken country? Is there any point in Afghanistan, which is in normal situation?
The reason that stopped the enemies from reaching their goals is the massive participation of Iranians, who feel they should stand with the values of the Islamic Revolution, the chief executive added.
As to the significant presence of people of Nahbandan in his speech, he expressed gratitude to the support for the Islamic Republic, Supreme Leader and Islamic values.
President Raisi started his provincial trip to South Khorasan province on Thursday to inspect development projects as well as pursue his administration’s efforts in order to resolve problems of people of the province.
Speaking on Thursday night in a meeting with the Pioneers of Iran's Progress and Opportunities for Economic Investments and Development, in the presence of a large number of cabinet ministers in Birjand Special Economic Zone, Raisi said that the enemy has begun hybrid warfare, and a major part of the war against Iran is in the economic field.
