President Raisi met and held talks with Indonesia’s Chief Justice of the Supreme Court Muhammad Syarifuddin here in Tehran on Wednesday.
Describing the relations between Iran and Indonesia as friendly and progressive, President Raisi noted that the Islamic Republic of Iran's will to develop relations with Indonesia in all areas is serious and the current level of relations between the two states is not proportional to the capacities in the two countries.
He highlighted that the good relations between Tehran and Jakarta in various fields can lead to the development of constructive cooperation between the two countries at regional and international levels.
Referring to Indonesia's active approach in international organizations, President Raisi emphasized the strengthening of cooperation between the two states in international institutions and forums as one of the areas of cooperation between Iran and Indonesia.
Syarifuddin, for his part, described the relations between the two countries as friendly, cordial, and progressive.
Expressing his country's interest in boosting the level of relations between the two countries in various fields, he urged cooperation and using the experiences of the Islamic Republic of Iran in the field of legal and judicial technologies.
