-- Iran’s nine-month caviar exports up 110%: IFO official

An official with Iran Fisheries Organization announced a 110 percent increase in the country’s caviar exports during the first nine months of the current Iranian year (March 21-December 21, 2021) compared to corresponding figure for the same period of last year.
Talking to Iran Daily, the director general of the Office of Recovering and Protecting the Aquatic Genetic Resources of IFO said Iranian caviar is exported through both official channels (in large volumes via customs gates) and unofficial ones (taken overseas by foreign tourists in their luggage).

-- Iran’s 11-month non-oil trade hits $90b: IRICA

Iran’s non-oil trade stood at $90 billion during the first 11 months of the current Iranian year (March 21, 2021-February 19, 2022), up 38 percent compared to corresponding figure for preceding year, announced the deputy head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
Foroud Asgari said the weight of non-oil trade stood at 149.4 million tons.

-- Minister: Abgineh Museum of Tehran reflects Iranian civilization

Glassware and Ceramic Museum of Iran, also known as Abgineh Museum, is a treasure trove that mirrors several millennia of civilization in Iran, said the Iranian minister of cultural heritage, tourism and handicrafts.
Speaking on the sideline of his visit to the museum on Saturday, he added that, “Reviewing the history of the museum, we discover that Iran has been a pioneer in the field of glassware and ceramic production in the world,” IRNA reported.
“I recommend all those interested in Iranian history and culture to visit the museum,” he noted.

-- Ministry: Iran Will Not Accept Any Deadline

 Iran said on Sunday it will not accept any deadline set by the West to revive its 2015 nuclear deal and wants “politically-motivated” claims by UN agency IAEA about Tehran’s nuclear work to be dropped.
“We have answered the agency’s (IAEA) questions or politically-motivated claims ... that we think were baseless. These dossiers should be closed,” Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh said.

-- Iran’s 6th Expo Kicks Off in Tajik Capital

Islamic Republic of Iran’s sixth exclusive exhibition opened in Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan.
The event was attended by Iran’s ambassador to the country Muhammad Taghi Saberi and the governor of Iran’s Khorasan Razavi province Yaqub Ali Nazari, Tajik economic officials, ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions and businessmen and economic activists of Iran and Tajikistan.
Referring to Iran’s fifth exclusive exhibition in Tajikistan in December 2019, Saberi said that the current event was in fact the first exhibition after the Covid-19 outbreak.

-- IRICA: Iran Posts $3bn Trade Deficit in 11 Months to Late January

The Iranian customs office (IRICA) has reported a trade deficit of just over $3 billion for the country in the 11 months to February 19. IRICA figures published showed that Iran’s total trade with other countries had topped $90.094 billion in March-February, up 38% from the similar previous period.
The figures showed that Iranian trade had risen by 12% in volume terms over the same period to a total of 149.4 million metric tons (mt).

-- Iran’s Supreme National Security Council holds meeting on Vienna talks

Deputy Speaker of the Iranian parliament, Ali Nikzad, has said the Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) held a meeting on Saturday to address concerns on the ongoing talks in Vienna. The Iranian negotiating team as well as Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf also attended the meeting. 

In a public session on Sunday, Mohammadreza Pour-Ebrahimi, the chairman of the parliament's Economic Committee, stressed that issues pertinent to Ukraine as well as the Vienna talks are indispensable.

-- Non-oil trade rises 38% in 11 months yr/yr

The value of Iran’s non-oil trade rose 38 percent during the first 11 months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21, 2021-February 19, 2022), as compared to the same period of time in the past year, a senior official with the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA) announced.

According to IRICA Deputy Head for Customs Affairs Foroud Asgari, Iran traded over 149.4 million tons of non-oil products worth $90 billion with other countries in the mentioned period.

--ECO ministers invited to inaugurate “Sari 2022” in mid-March

Ministers and representatives from the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) have been invited to attend the inauguration ceremony of the “Sari 2022” in the northern Iranian city on March 17 and 18. On Saturday, the head of Mazandaran Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicrafts Department Mehdi Izadi said the inauguration ceremony will be attended by ECO ministers as well as other local and international guests, CHTN reported.

Iranian cities of Sari, the capital of Mazandaran province, and Ardabil, the capital of Ardabil province, were selected in 2019 as the cultural capitals for the Economic Cooperation Organization for 2022 and 2023 respectively.
