Admiral Sayyari made the remarks in the ceremony of joining Alvand Destroyer, four submarines, two choppers, and planes to the Iranian Navy in Bandar Abbas.
"Iranian ships, nowadays do their voyage to the Gulf of Finland and St. Petersburg waters, that is 50,000 nautical miles, and in the long voyage, Iranian ships entered the world's strategic areas," he added.
Deputy Commander of the Iranian Army for Coordination Affairs addressing a ceremony added that nowadays the Iranian Navy'79th fleet is conducting the expedition at high seas.
Alvand Destroyer and four submarines joined the Iranian Army Navy at a ceremony in southern Iran on Sunday.
Iran's Navy Commander Rear Admiral Shahram Irani and Deputy Commander of Army for Coordination Affairs Rear Admiral Habibollah Sayyari were present in the ceremony.
Head of factories affiliated to Army, Captain Siamak Pourgazazi, said at the ceremony that Alvand Destroyer has been overhauled by indigenous experts.
Also, four submarines joined the Navy after being renovated, Captain Pourgazazi added.
