Moscow, IRNA – Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Russian Navy Vice-Admiral Vladimir Lvovich Kasatonov lauded the Iranian naval fleet participation in the Russian drill.
Vice-Admiral Lvovich Kasatonov made the remarks in a meeting with Chief of General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran Major General Mohammad Bagheri.
He said that the Iranian navy's participation showed growing unity between the two sides, hoping for developing cooperation.
Vice-Admiral Lvovich Kasatonovalso referred to the upcoming military drill in Russia and hoped that Iranian forces would attend the events.
