IRGC, Islamic Jihad Movement discuss Palestine developments

Tehran, May 22, IRNA - IRGC Commander-in-Chief Major General Hossein Salaami in a phone call with Secretary-General of Palestinian Islamic Jihad Resistance Movement Ziad al-Nakhala discussed the latest developments in Palestine.

Major General Salaami said that the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps will not leave Palestinian nation alone.

Meanwhile, Ziad al-Nakhala said that it was a pivotal battle in the history of conflict with the Zionist enemy and caused unprecedented unity among Palestinian groups.

He added that the battle took place in the framework of a coordinated and integrated axis which believes in liberation of Holy Quds and is trying to defend it.

He also appreciated Martyr Lieutenant General Qasemi Soleimani for his effort to materialize this victory.

Earlier, in separate phone conversation with Chairman of the Hamas Political Bureau (Hamas) Ismail Haniyeh, Salaami expressed Iran's readiness to help Palestinian nation and Resistance forces in all fields.

In the meantime, Haniyeh praised Iran's stable position with regard to Palestinians rights.

The occupying Zionist forces started their brutal attacks and aggression against the Gaza Strip on May 10 and have so far killed hundreds of Palestinians and injured over 1,200 others. In response to the continuing Zionist aggression and attacks on Gaza, the Palestinian resistance front has also launched rocket attacks on the occupied territories .
