Iran, Russia to further develop ties

Iranian and Russian deputy foreign ministers Abbas Araghchi and Igor Morgolov met on Saturday and discussed ways to develop their ties. 

The two stressed that Tehran and Moscow need to develop their cultural and trade ties. 

They also discussed regional and international issues, especially the situation in the Persian Gulf and Iran and Russia’s proposals to the regional states to restore stability to the region.
