Mohajer, Yasir drones' mission successful in Iran's military drill

Tehran, Nov 18, IRNA – Iran's army ground forces have successfully operated indigenous Mohajer and Yasir drones during the last phase of its recent wargames codenamed Mohammad Rasoulallah (PBUH), reported the Army Public Relations Office on Wednesday.

The Mohajer drones with flight range of 50 and 100 kilometers, along with the Yasir dorne have successfully completed their reconnaissance and imaging missions during the military drills, said Brigadier General Ahmad Reza Pourdastan commander of Iran's Ground Forces.

'Developed by the Iranian engineers and unveiled recently, the Yasir drone has been flown for the first time in the Mohammad Rasoulallah (PBUH) military maneuvers,' Pourdastan said.

The massive six-day military exercises codenamed Mohammad Rasoulallah (PBUH) covered an area of 2.2 million square kilometers from the East of the Strait of Hormuz to the Southern parts of the Gulf of Aden.

We conduct military maneuvers to be combat-ready and bolster the morale of our forces, Pourdastan said.

'The main message of our wargames for our regional friends and neighbors is peace and friendship, and for enemies, it is a harsh response,' he added.
