The ministry, in statement, according to the Turkish media, also expressed concern about the risk of a larger regional conflict following the attack on Iran's diplomatic mission in Damascus.
In another part of the statement, the Turkish ministry called for a restraint from all involved parties and urged to act within the framework of international law.
