Iran's FM hopes for implementing agreements reached between Iran, Nicaragua

Tehran, IRNA - In a meeting with his Nicaraguan counterpart, Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian evaluated the growing trend of bilateral relations, especially after the visit of Iran's president to Nicaragua and the agreements reached between the two presidents and expressed hope that these agreements will be implemented as soon as possible.

On Sunday evening, in the meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nicaragua, Denis Moncada, Amirabdollahian expressed his appreciation for his active participation in the Palestinian conference and the announcement of the principled and valuable positions of the government of Nicaragua in the meeting, and the main goal of this meeting is to achieve an international mechanism to help the Palestinian people.

The Nicaraguan foreign minister also stated in the meeting that Palestine, from Nicaragua's point of view, means dignity, honor and humanity, and what was evident in this conference was the fact that all the participating countries, despite their cultural and ideological differences, agreed on the cause of Palestine.

Denis Moncada emphasized the will of the Nicaraguan government to develop and expand bilateral relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran and emphasized the need to follow the axes of joint cooperation.
