Fayez al-Dawiri, a retired Jordanian general and military analyst, made the remarks after watching a video of how Israeli forces shiver when they encounter Palestinian resistance fighters.
The military analyst expressed extreme surprise and displeasure at what happened in 1967, when the timid Israeli army managed to overcome three Arab armies in the Six-Day War.
The former general added that he felt sorry for Arab armies who lost the war to the faint-hearted forces.
He also compared videos of when resistance fighters bravely destroyed Israeli military equipment and the time when the cowardly Israeli forces faced Palestinians in the battleground.
He explained that whatever he says about the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas, is not a compliment but a military analysis.
If Arab armies had possessed forces like al-Qassam Brigades, they would have never been defeated in any conflict, he argued.
Some social media activists reacted to the videos on easily frightened Israeli forces, backing the retired general’s point of view on the Six-Day War.
