Certain parties supportive of the Israeli regime characterize the ongoing human tragedy in Gaza as the "Hamas-Israel war", Kanaani made the remarks through a post on his page on X, formerly known as Twitter, on Tuesday evening.
But the truth is that what transpires in Gaza is not a war between Israel & Hamas, instead, it constitutes an all-out assault by an occupying regime armed to the teeth, backed politically, militarily, and in terms of weaponry, intelligence, operations, and propaganda by the United States against the Palestinian nation, whose land is occupied, and who have endured attacks, killings, assassinations, arrests, torture, siege, and bombings by this occupying regime for 75 years, Kanaani wrote.
He also added that the propaganda bombing unleashed by the Zionist-American coalition against the Palestinians is as relentless as the barrage of rockets fired against them.
