In a letter to the Health Ministers of Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Member States on Monday, Einollahi referred to the humanitarian catastrophe and painful events in occupied Palestinian territories that targeted hundreds of women, children, and the elderly in the residential areas and martyred a large number of Muslims.
Pointing to the OIC's extensive efforts to develop cooperation between Islamic countries and improve social mechanisms in recent years, he added that one of the significant topics of the talks in the OIC meetings has been the promotion of health in the member states.
Meanwhile, the Health Ministers of OIC Member States have always worked together to provide timely responses in the management of health crises and to play an effective role in humanitarian support, he noted.
He called on the Health Ministers of OIC Member States to help the victims of recent events in occupied Palestinian territories within the framework of the Red Crescent Society and international organizations' actions, while supporting the oppressed people of Palestine, and providing the ground for reducing the suffering of the Palestinians.
