During the meeting, which was attended by some other Kuwaiti businessmen, the two sides discussed ways to develop trade ties and economic cooperation between the two countries and the need to use the existing capacities.
Bukhamseen hailed the Islamic Republic of Iran's position in supporting Kuwait during the attack on his country by Ba'athist regime of Saddam Hussein, and said that Kuwait relies on the common religious, historical and social ties of the two neighboring countries.
Iran's ambassador to Kuwait, for his part, invited Kuwaiti businessmen and investors to visit Iran's economic projects for investment opportunities.
