Sabahifard was speaking on Monday on the sidelines of his visit to Southeast Air Defense Region.
He hailed the role the Army’s Air Defense played to protect the country during the 1980s war imposed by the former Iraqi regime against Iran.
The army official said that Iran will continue to develop its defense industry.
