Mao Ning, the Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson, told reporters on Thursday that her country is strongly opposed to all forms of terrorism.
She said China supports Iran in the fight against terrorism and extremism, as well as its efforts to maintain peace and stability.
The terror attack in Shiraz took place at the city’s famous Shah Cheragh holy shrine where a gunman shot dead 15 people, including two children.
He was identified as Hamed Badakhshan.
The Daesh terror group claimed responsibility for the attack.
