Secretary of the film festival said in a keynote speech that this edition began with the motto “Tehran, the role model megacity for the Islamic World” – a vision statement chosen by the city’s mayor.
Several films and TV series were awarded in the festival. Pejman Jamshidi and Jaleh Sameti respectively received the best actor and best actress awards.
