Tehran, IRNA – Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Saeed Khatibzadeh welcomed the two-month truce in Yemen set up on UN special envoy’s initiative.
In a statement issued early on Saturday, Khatibzadeh expressed hope that the measure could pave the way for full removal of the blockade on permanent ceasefire to allow for a political solution for Yemen crisis.
We hope for an improvement in humanitarian conditions and full exchange of prisoners between the parties involved on the eve of Ramadan month.
