Iran pursues cyberattacks on country's infrastructure in int'l forums

Tehran, IRNA – Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian said on Tuesday that Iran will pursue cyberattacks against the country's infrastructure in international forums legally.

Amirabdollahian met and held talks with Head of Iran Civil Defense Organization Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali on Tuesday.

They discussed various issues of cooperation in the field of civil defense, including the development of the country's relations with the rest of the world, legal and political pursuits by the Foreign Ministry in international forums, and creating the necessary platforms for scientific-defense dialogues.

Referring to the scientific capabilities and capacities of the country, as well as the needs of other states, including some neighbors in the field of civil defense issues, Amirabdollahian expressed readiness to use all legal and political tools available in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to further develop and update the indigenous knowledge.

He reiterated that they will pursue cyberattacks against the country's infrastructure in international forums legally.
