According to the Seismological Center of the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, the tremor occurred at 6:09 hours local time and at the depth of 10 km underground.
Speaking to IRNA, Andika governor Amrollah Nozari said based on reports and documents some of the house located in ancient areas and villages were damaged.
He added that some people were also injured.
He noted that experts and probe teams are investigating the accidents and the final reports will be release soon.
Iran sits on major fault lines and is prone to near-daily earthquakes.
