Lawmakers approve agreement on Iran cooperation with Caspian Sea states

Tehran, May 25, IRNA – Members of Iranian Parliament approved the agreement on Iran's cooperation with Russia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan with regard to safeguarding the Caspian Sea and fighting systematic crimes.

The agreement on the Caspian Sea security received 184 yes votes.

The bill has been set to meet Iran's national interest in the Caspian Sea. Establishing cooperation with other parties can help safeguard Caspian Sea.
