The ceremony was attended by a group of students, Iran's Ambassador in Greece Majid Motallebi Shabestari, Iranians residing in Greece and Iran embassy staff and their families.
Meanwhile, similar ceremonies were held in Belarussia to mark the tragic loss of the Holy Prophet of Islam (PBUH) and Imam Hasan (AS), the second Imam of Shiias, as well as Imam Reza (AS), the 8th Imam of Shiias. Those attending the ceremony at the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Minsk mourned for the prophet and the Imams.
Students, Iranians residing in Belarussia and other Shiias were present in the ceremony, where verses from Holy Qur'an were recited and a number of figures delivered speeches as the audience started mourning.
