Israeli airstrikes kill at least 23, including children, in Gaza

The latest Israeli strikes were carried out overnight into Tuesday.

New Israeli strikes have killed at least 23 people in the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian medics, as hospitals are flooded with the dead and wounded since Israel resumed a genocidal war on the territory last week.

The latest Israeli strikes were carried out overnight into Tuesday.

Among the fatalities were three children and their parents, who were killed in a strike on their tent near the southern city of Khan Younis, according to Gaza’s Nasser Hospital.

Israel launched the war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, 2023. The war was briefly halted with a ceasefire agreement in January. The regime restarted the war on March 18.

More than 50,000 Palestinians have been killed and over 113,000 wounded in the war, according to Gaza’s Health Ministry.

Separately, Hamdan Ballal, a Palestinian co-director of the documentary “No Other Land,” was assaulted by masked Israeli settlers in his home village in the Israeli-occupied West Bank. He was then arrested by the Israeli military “for questioning.”
