Missile fired from Yemen sets off sirens in Tel Aviv, suspends flights at Ben Gurion airport
The Yemeni armed forces launch a missile toward Israeli-occupied territories.

Israeli media report new missile attack from Yemen as the Arab country continues its military operations in support of Palestinians in Gaza where Israel has resumed its air and ground offensives in the past several days.

A new missile attack from Yemen has set off sirens in Tel Aviv and other cities, while it has forced the suspension of flights at Israel’s Ben Gurion International Airport, Israeli media have reported.

According to TV Channel 12, a missile was fired from Yemen on Sunday, which the outlet claimed that was intercepted by the Israeli military. It also said flights were suspended at the Ben Gurion airport.

Other reports said sirens were set off in more than 20 cities and settlements, including occupied al-Quds, as a result of the Yemeni attack.

There has been no reaction from Yemen as of yet.

Yemen has resumed military operations against Israel in response to its renewed attacks on the Gaza Strip last Tuesday as well as the regime’s failure to meet a deadline set by Yemen to lift its siege of the stip.

Yemen has promised to continue its operations in support of Palestine until the war comes to an end in Gaza, pressing ahead with those operations despite the ongoing airstrikes by the United States on Yemeni soil. Yemen says the U.S. air aggression is part of its continued support for the Israeli regime.
