Sgt. Maj. (Res.) Neriya Shaer, 36; Sgt. 1st Class (Res.) Ben Zussman, 22; and Sgt. Binyamin Yehoshua Needham, 19; were identified as the slain troops.
It came as fighting escalated between the Israeli regime's military and Gaza-based resistance groups on Sunday.
A Zionist military analyst said the regime’s troops experienced the heaviest number of casualties in their history in Gaza.
Channel 12 of the Zionist regime quoted Barham Meir as saying that 25 armored vehicles of the Zionist regime were destroyed in the Gaza Strip in the last 24 hours, according to Al-Sabah Al-Misri.
He added that 75 soldiers were killed, which is unprecedented in the history of the regime.
The Zionist regime waged a bloody war on the Gaza Strip on October 7, after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas carried out “Operation Al-Aqsa Flood” against the occupying regime in retaliation for its ongoing crimes against Palestinians.
The regime’s war on Gaza has so far killed over 15,500 people, including at least 6,600 children and 4,300 women, in the besieged territory. Over half of Gaza’s residential units have also been destroyed or damaged in relentless Israeli strikes.
